Open Spaces
The Cottonwoods rests comfortably on the benches of beautiful Durst Mountain, one the world-famous Wasatch Mountains. Such spectacular surroundings helped inspire us to keep much of the property open and green, exactly the way nature designed them. This means plenty of nearby hiking, picnicking, and outdoor recreation for you and your family.

Trail Network
An extensive network of trails connects our neighborhoods and open spaces. These trails are perfect for walking, exercising, enjoying the outdoors, or riding horses—depending on the type of trail:

• Nature trails – Cleared earthen trails built along older trails.
• Paved trails – Primary trails connecting most of the neighborhoods to the elementary school and Silver Lake Reservoir Park.
